Solitude

Fitted with D rings and ready to hang.

This was another one of my journeys into the semi-abstract.  I drew on memories and imagination to create the overall setting for this piece having been to a number of locations where the scenery is both dramatic, beautiful and serene.  There are times when I still drift there in my minds eye and I aimed to create that sense of stillness within the painting, but left enough for the viewer to answer their own questions about where it is and what is happening within it.
