This artwork was based on a source photograph taken during a basketball event at my son’s local club. Â I had been asked to take photos throughout the day for their website but sometimes you capture an image that you know you just need to do something with… and this was one of them!
By now I had already been creating abstract artwork and saw a great opportunity use a semi-abstract approach to emphasis the energy and movement of the image.
